How long does installation take? Depending on the size, our expert team usually requires 1.5 to 3 hours for a standard 16ft x 16ft floor. This includes the laying of the sub-floor, the gold mirror acrylic, and the application of any custom white printed graphics.
When is the protective film removed? To ensure a 100% scratch-free surface, we leave a protective layer on the floor during the entire setup of your event (floral, stage, and lighting). This is peeled back just before your guests enter the room for that "wow" reveal.
Can it be installed outdoors? Yes, provided the floor is inside a weatherproof marquee with a solid, level wooden sub-floor. We do not recommend installing mirror floors directly on grass or uneven ground without a professional leveling system.
Care & Usage
Is the floor slippery? While the floor has a high-gloss finish, it is engineered for dancing. However, like any polished surface, it can become slippery if liquids are spilled. We recommend having venue staff on hand to quickly clear any accidental spills.
What about high heels? Our gold mirror floors are made from high-density, event-grade acrylic. While they are durable enough for standard evening wear and dancing, we advise against dragging heavy furniture or equipment across the surface without protection.
Cleaning during the event: If the floor requires a "freshen up" between the wedding breakfast and the evening reception, it should only be wiped with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using standard household glass cleaners, as these can smear the gold finish.
